Reporting to: General Manager.

The Role 

This newly created position is a dynamic and diverse role responsible for delivering strategic organisational outcomes and ensuring smooth running operational success.

You will lead a team dedicated to excellence in customer service, co-ordinate vessel support operations, oversee human resources and manage a diverse annual calendar of business projects.

About You 

You are a hands-on leader who has demonstrated staff management expertise. You are an experienced tourism / hospitality professional with exceptional attentional to detail, time management who can work to deadlines in an agile and complex working environment.

You deliver the highest standard work and complete administrative and auditing tasks thoroughly to ensure the premium experience for guests and ongoing success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and foster an outstanding team, with a focus on people management and company culture.
  • Responsible for delivery of excellence customer service across all touch points.
  • Accountable for meeting critical deadlines and maintenance of accurate data entry.
  • Oversight of recruitment, training, people management and retention of staff.
  • Delivery of data and reports to inform strategic planning.
  • Manage outsourced digital marketing contracts.
  • Develop and deliver marketing content across social media platforms.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the tourism industry (or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good understanding or ability to sell a high-end tourism experience.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability.
  • Clerical skills, computer literacy and effective time management.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to corporate confidentiality.
  • Positive proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to uphold brand values.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking experience.
  • Ability to prioritise activities to meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
  • Fulfil on-call duties as per vessel schedule as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and national police clearance.
