About the Position:

If you are a driven and passionate person who is a confident communicator, and has experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this role might suit you! We’re seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help coordinate and manage communications and marketing of the Shire of Broome’s activities, events and decisions.

This role is responsible for implementing the Shire’s Corporate Communication and Engagement Strategy as well as developing strategic and operational plans for the Shire. It’s a very busy role, but filled with many exciting things! You’ll be ‘in the know’ about pretty much everything happening throughout the Shire of Broome and get to share the news with internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

Your collaborative approach with our stakeholders means that we will continue to be a respected provider of information on all things happening within our community. By analysing and translating technical details from complex projects in to understandable information that is easily accessible, you’ll continue to support and improve on these stakeholder relationships.

You’ll have a proven track record in using a range of communication methods to clearly articulate a story or message, and strong proof-reading abilities with a keen eye for detail. Your previous colleagues would describe you as an inspirational leader who mentors others at every opportunity, for the overall betterment of the organsiation.

Above all else, you will be an enthusiastic and approachable person who will be excited at the opportunity to continue to share the Shire of Broome’s story!

About the Shire:
