Parts Interpreter/ Administration

About the role

Red Dirt Auto Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Parts Interpreter/Administration professional to join our team in Broome, WA. This full-time role is integral to the smooth operation of our automotive workshop, ensuring our customers receive the parts they need quickly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

• Interpret customer needs and identify the correct parts required for a wide range of  vehicles and equipment
• Liaise with suppliers to source and order parts in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimised
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry and filing
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the workshop

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrated experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar role within the automotive or heavy equipment industry
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify the right parts for the job
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
• Proficient in using inventory management and ordering systems
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Flexibility to work as part of a team as well as independently
